History

McDaniel Steel Erection was created in 2009 by Owner, Doug McDaniel. Doug has 30 years of experience in the steel erection industry. MSE started with only 3 employees and has now risen to 17 employees. In 2019, MSE became an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) certified company. We complete work from a range of small miscellaneous work to large commercial work. Some of the larger projects we have done is the University of Cincinnati Gardner Neuroscience Institute (900 ton), the University of Kentucky Baseball stadium(700 ton), University of Kentucky Residential Dorms, and the Eastern Kentucky University Student Recreation Center(600 ton). We are now completing work in the Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Lexington area.
